WHAT IS THE ADVISORY BOARD?

The Islander Advisory Board is composed of 12 individuals or programs, all of whom possess a strong connection to Utah and are of Pacific Islander Heritage with a football background. This board aims to ensure that the program always respects and honors the Pacific Islanders culture. Board members will choose which community programs to support, game day activities (including themes), and play a significant role in the program's brand and image.

The board's mission is to collaborate and enhance football opportunities for Utah's athletes and foster the game's growth in the state. Our primary objective is to recruit young athletes and coaches to the program and help them advance in their careers. With a joint effort, we can provide our athletes and coaches with incredible opportunities to succeed and advance.

ADVISORY BOARD BI-LAWS

Roles and Responsibilities

The Islander Advisory Board will be responsible for creating Bi-Laws that hold members accountable for the program's success. These laws will establish clear expectations for board members, ensuring they understand their responsibilities towards the program's achievement. Additionally, the board will create disciplinary actions for cases where individuals do not meet the established standards. In the event that a member is to be removed the board will vote.

The board will also set mandatory meeting dates, which can be attended in person or via web meeting. Decisions will be made based on majority voting standards; however, in the event of a split vote Team Founder Chris Heliin will make the final decision.
